Buy your own personal edition of one of the permanent public artworks Cortada was commissioned to create to depict the plight of the Caloosahatchee and greater Everglades ecosystem in Florida. The high definition print is locally hand-crafted using vegetable-based dye inks on recycled aluminum. It showcases an endangered animal that has been affected by habitat loss due to over development. Cortada, the artist, believes that we must find a better way to coexist with nature before these animals become extinct.

The works are hand-crafted locally on 0.045″ thick recycled aluminum. It is created with a dye that is vegetable based, so they don’t contain the VOC’s that are harmful to humans and the environment. They are made one at a time as the orders are placed, so please be patient.
Our High Definition Printing process is called dye sublimation on Aluminum, dye sublimation produces the HD Prints on Metal, gives unsurpassed details with astonishing results. The image is infused into the aluminum with pressure and heat process; it is not printed. The image is inside the material not on the surface, as a result it is waterproof and scratch resistant, regular printing is not

Our Metal Prints are ready to hang and 100% aluminum, we do not use any foam, mdf or wood on the back of the prints, our floating back frames are made of aluminum.
